This was another competition piece for Topshop.
I chose sweets as the theme of my designs; the colours and shapes and patterns.
Topshop requested 10 final designs with technical drawings and details for each design. I designed a variety of shirts, t-shirts, vests, jackets, skirts, cropped trousers, jeans, shorts and sports trousers. As well as woven garments and stretch-knits I also designed knitwear like this short bolero jacket and cropped short-sleeved jumper.
These are the final designs I submitted to Topshop, based on a variety of sweets, with sweet-inspired jewellery and accessories. I love how colourful this board is. I think my designs look really good as a collection, they are all different but they all fit together very well. I never shop at Topshop and at first I thought I wouldn’t get on with this project very well, but I really enjoyed doing something different and designing for a different market.
